About: The U.S. Department of Interior has proposed allowing oil drilling off the coast of New England. Under the proposal, nearly 90 percent of U.S. continental-shelf waters, including Rhode Island and New England waters, would be open to oil and gas exploration, development and production. Save The Bay is holding the rally beginning at 3:30 p.m. At 3:45 p.m., participants will march to the Providence Marriott, 1 Orms St., and stand together in peaceful protest until 5:30 p.m. Bring your signs and posters.
