Biodiversity Festival

  • Blackstone River State Park 1075 Lower River Road Lincoln, RI, 02865 United States (map)

About: Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park is hosting its second annual Biodiversity Festival. Explorers of all ages will find plenty to discover at this free festival. Go on a wild-mushroom walk with the Wild Mushroom Hunting Foundation, take a 15-minute field trip with Melissa Guillet or learn what happens to water once it goes down your drain. Kicking-off with yoga in the park, the festivities, including free walks, games, crafts and demonstrations, will be in full-swing between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Interact with live animals at the Southwick Zoo’s Zoomobile, which will be on site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact Blackstonevista@gmail.com with questions or for information about volunteering or tabling at this event.
