Providence Energy Fair

  • Southside Cultural Center 393 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907 (map)

About:  Learn how to save money and help the environment while enjoying family-friendly live music and food trucks. This free event, hosted by the Sierra Club, the City of Providence and People’s Power & Light, will feature an outdoor vendor area with booths for nonprofit organizations and solar vendors. There will also be a series of short workshops on energy-related topics and an electric vehicle display area. The Environmental Justice League will lead two "Toxic Tours" from the fair. In addition to these groups, Acadia Center, the RI Office of Energy Resources, Groundwork Rhode Island, RISE Engineering (representing Nation Grid’s free energy audits), and CAPP (discussing LIHEAP and Weatherization programs) will participate. Translation services and childcare will be provided for the speaking program.
