“From Trustees Gardens to Your Backyard: Lessons from a Seasoned Gardener”

About: Lucinda Brockway, program director for cultural resources at The Trustees, will lead this illustrated lecture, which will take critical lessons learned from recent estate garden restoration projects and translate them into design lessons for your own backyard, including the 10 rules for getting your garden picture-perfect. This free event will feature gardens from 165 acres to a quarter-acre. The Trustees is Massachusetts’ oldest conservation and preservation organization. Begun in 1891, The Trustees manage some 26,000 acres of scenic, natural and cultural significance from the Berkshires to Cape Cod and the Islands.
