About: Join master naturalist Lynn Kochiss for the first in a series designed to help beginners unravel the mysteries of tree identification. The first half of the program will be held indoors at the Connecticut Forest & Park Association. Begin by investigating how to use bark, twigs, and buds as clues for winter tree ID. Then explore Highlawn Forest to see how many trees we can name using these clues. Some field guides and binoculars will be available but feel free to bring your own. Registration is strongly recommended.
