    Keep It Simple When Backyard Composting

     

    Earle Perkins, a certified University of Rhode Island master composter, shares tips on kick-starting a compost pile for the spring. From his home in Wakefield, Perkins shows how simple things such as water, leaves and a good garden tool are all that’s needed to invigorate the process for creating rich and healthful compost.
